I failed to find the Red-throated Loon at Kenilworth Aquatic Garden (DC)
this afternoon even though I looked from both parks. The consolation prize
was an immature, pied LITTLE BLUE HERON in the aquatic gardens' lily ponds.
There was a large school group visiting the gardens and I did not see the
Heron on my way out.
