Subject: [MDBirding] The odd mimid behavior continues
First it was the Mockingbirds eating suet, then the Brown Thrasher eating suet. Well, now one of the thrashers is sitting on the rearview (passenger side) mirror of my Jeep and then fluttering down to the tiny window ledge to peck at its reflection. I've seen cardinals do this, but never a Brown Thrasher. Maybe it's something in the suet!

Slow here still. A male Orchard Oriole was in the yard singing this morning, as was a catbird. Ditto House Wren, but otherwise pretty slow. Still have a few White-throated Sparrows, and a male E. Towhee was singing in my neighbors yard while a female was eating on the ground below my feeders, a couple of days ago.
