Subject: [MDBirding] Annapolis migrants last night and this morning

I had two exciting days of yard birding with a new species each day and several for the Eastport neighborhood. Yesterday morning I had two male Baltimore Orioles in the yard (a first here), one signing. After work, a short walk around the very small Truxton Park produced Swainson's Thrush, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Scarlet Tanager, Redstart, Ovenbird, Yellow-rump, Parula, and Wood Thrush. This morning, our yard had a Scarlet Tanager (male, singing), Black-throated Green Warbler (first for the yard), Yellow Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, and Baltimore Oriole (female-type). Whoa!! Wish I didn't have to be at work today!

Also had Pine Siskin (Tues) and White-thorated Sparrow (yesterday) as well as my first House Finch fledglings of the year begging and being fed my mom.
