Subject: [MDBirding] Rock Creek Park, Tuesday 5/7/13
This morning (5/7) at Rock Creek Park�.

Because of rain, this report covers only the bridge, the ridge, and the equitation field from 6:30-8:00 am. Best bird was a singing worm-eating warbler first found by Mardi just northwest of the ridge and seen by all.

Yellow-billed cuckoo 1(Mardi)
Barred Owl (heard at bridge}

Northern flicker 2 (heard)
Pileated Woodpecker 1 (heard at bridge)
Great Crested Flycatcher 2
Red-eyed vireo 2
Yellow-throated Vireo 1 ( heard)
American Crow 1
Fish Crow 2
Carolina Chickadee 1
Tufted Titmouse 3
White-breasted nuthatch 1
Carolina Wren 3
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2
Wood Thrush 6 heard
Robin 15+
Eastern Towhee 3
Chipping Sparrow 2
White-throated sparrow 2 (heard)
Scarlet Tanager 2
Northern Cardinal 4
