Subject: [MDBirding] interesting sparrows and possible breeders - Strathmore (Mont Cty)
I had a Savannah Sparrow and a White-crowned Sparrow working the edge of the paved path together at the Strathmore Center grounds (North Bethesda/Rockville) on my walk to the metro this morning. These are unusual birds at this location.

Other sitings at this location over the last few days included two singing Warbling Vireos (they have bred here in the past), at least three male Baltimore Orioles (also bred here previously), a singing male Orchard Oriole, and a pair of Killdeer. I haven't been able to determine if the Killdeer are breeding yet.

It will be interesting to see who sticks around.
