Subject: [MDBirding] Summer Tanager pair at Blockhouse Point/MP 21
This morning a pair of Summer Tanagers were flying back and forth across the canal at Blockhouse Point (C&O MP 21). The male was not vocalizing but the female was pitti-tucking strongly. This is no doubt the bird that Clive Harris reported yesterday, and which I had posted to eBird (mistakenly listing MP 24 instead of MP 21).

Plenty of orioles, Scarlet Tanagers, cuckoos (all Yellow-billed), Great Crested Flycatchers, Indigo Buntings, Red-eyed Vireos. Acadian Flycatcher, Pewee. Wood Thrush. Joining the breeders (Parula, Yellowthroat, Louisiana Waterthrush, Prothonotary) were N Waterthrush, Black-throated Blue and Green.
