Tim, Brett, and I did an afternoon power hike from the Nature Center, down the Valley Stream Trail and back up the Ridge Trail. On the Valley Stream trail, past the bathroom but before you start heading up the hills (sorry to be so vague but there aren't really many landmarks) we found a .... CERULEAN. Yes, in Rock Creek Park. Later, we bumped into Jennifer Wheeler, who had been there for the birding festival, and she mentioned that someone else reported a Cerulean. On the Ridge Trail, just before the large stream that you cross on stepping stones, we had a VEERY.
