Six snickety Pine Siskins persist, insistent on thistle.

FYI thistle seed goes rancid a LOT faster than sunflower seed after you open the bag, in my experience so now I buy small (3 pound) bags. When I bought larger bags, the last 1/3 never got eaten. I buy my thistle seed at Wild Bird Center in Darnestown, the owner gives a 10% or more discount to MOS/ANS members.
