Raptor Observations:
A local adult male Peregrine Falcon put on a show, stooping from high in the sky on a high-speed dive, although it was not successful in the hunt.

American Redstart 2; Cattle Egret 2; Cliff Swallow 3; Common Tern 2; Bobolink 25

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
