Weather:
Showers at first, then variable skies with alternate clearing and threatening clouds; 60-73 degrees; excellent visibility; winds mostly southerly, 0-10 mph

Raptor Observations:
Turkey Vultures, Broad-wings and Bald Eagles during the times when the skies cleared some. Turkey Vultures at a record high for a season and the first time more than 7,000 have been counted.� Black Vultures are also at a record high.

Non-raptor Observations:
11 species of warbler; Warbling Vireo; Indigo Bunting, 6; Blue Grosbeak, 2.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
