I did surveys on the Eastern side of Ft DuPont this morning. Highlights:
black-throated blue warbler - 2 (male and female) blackburnian warbler - 1 bay-breasted warbler - 3 wilson's warbler - 1 (this one was on the other side of the park than yesterday's. At the old fort hunting on a flowering tulip tree) blue-headed vireo - 1 scarlet tanager - 4 (2 males, 2 females) blackpoll warbler - 6 black-and-white warbler - 3 veery - 2 wood thrush - 3 swainsons thrush -3 eastern wood-peewee - 5 yellow-billed cuckoo (foraging on the ground) ruby-throated hummingbird - 1 red-eyed vireo - 6 magnolia warbler - 2 northern parula - 3 ovenbird - 1 eastern towhee - 3 yellow-rumped warbler - 3
