At just about 1:00 PM, I was sitting in the kitchen eating lunch and heard a loud noise like an ultralight airplane, and it kept getting louder. Just as I said "is something landing in our yard?", Alli said the same thing, then she yelled "go outside, the Goodyear blimp is over the house!". So I ran out the screen door to the side porch and searched the sky. Seconds later it appeared right above the house, very low (I guess because of the low cloud ceiling and very light rain just beginning to fall). It was really low, lower than any of the hot air balloons which come over. Nancy had the camera and hopefully got some pics before it flew off heading SE, towards Baltimore and the Preakness race later today. It happened last year too, though it was much further away from our house then. This was SO COOL!
