I spent a little time at the Wheaton stormwater ponds this morning. The most interesting birds were 3 Black-crowned Night-herons and a close Solitary Sandpiper working the mud flats at the North end. There was also a singing Baltimore Oriole sharing a tree with a Cedar Waxwings. There was also close to a dozen Chimney Swifts drinking from the East cell.
