Weather:
Mostly cloudy with an abundance of dark and low clouds, but also some partly cloudy patches; 71-77 degrees; fair visibility; winds southwesterly, 6-9 mph

Raptor Observations:
Turkey Vultures, Bald Eagles and Broad-winged Hawks predominated today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Three very late Horned Grebes; several Snapping Turtles laying eggs.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
