Sunny; 54-69 degrees; excellent visibility; winds mostly from the WNW, 7-16 mph, gusting to 24 mph

Raptor Observations:
A Mississippi Kite at 2:40 pm daylight time. Appeared in the distance across the pond, flew west some then returned and finally left in a WNW direction.

Non-raptor Observations:
Adult male Ruddy Duck.� Flicker/Tree Swallow/Starling hole was being sized up by a pair of bluebirds yesterday -�no activity today.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
