Hi All,
Making up for lost time, my wife Andrea and I birded most of the day starting mid morning at Kenilworth Gardens, and heading downriver to Poplar Point. �
Highlights included:
1 NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH
12+ YELLOW WARBLERS
1 female BLACKPOLL WARBLER
4 COMMON YELLOWTHROAT
3 WILLOW FLYCATCHERS
1 ALDER FLYCATCHER (only Andrea heard - darn!)
TREE SWALLOWS
RAIL SOUNDS @ POPLAR PT WETLAND
Most of the late morning was quiet and rather hot, but the birding at Poplar Point was very active as it clouded up in the afternoon after lunch.
