Subject: [MDBirding] Wallace profiled on WAMU Metro Connection
Subscribers to MDBIRDING know Wallace Kornack via his daily logs of sightings from Rock Creek Park. Here's a chance to learn more about him (and a shameless plug for ebird). WAMU (the local station that hosts NPR in DC) has a weekly show called Metro Connection, which highlights people & places in the DC area. The show that first aired on May 17th profiled Wallace and his tireless efforts to keep track of birds in Rock Creek Park during migration. It's a really nice piece and the recognition is well deserved. It's only 7+ minutes, and worth it (in my opinion). Here's the link...
