Subscribers to MDBIRDING know Wallace Kornack via his daily logs of sightings from Rock Creek Park. �Here's a chance to learn more about him (and a shameless plug for ebird). �WAMU (the local station that hosts NPR in DC) has a weekly show called Metro Connection, which highlights people & places in the DC area. �The show that first aired on May 17th profiled Wallace and his tireless efforts to keep track of birds in Rock Creek Park during migration. �It's a really nice piece and the recognition is well deserved. �It's only 7+ minutes, and worth it (in my opinion). �Here's the link...�
