Patricia,

The Veery at my house is almost exclusively a dusk singer. He's singing right now and typically goes until shortly after sunset. He started around 7:30pm.

When my I leave for work in the morning, 5:45-6:15am, I never hear him. Kim spends a little more time later in the morning and rarely hears the Veery as well.

Interesting!

The last year, or I think actually two years, not a sound. BUT, tonight (c.7:30) there was a veery singing in that area, AND there was one along there about a week ago! Yay!
