Hi MD Birders:
As some of you may know, I have occasionally been accused of ducking reality and taking refuge in puns. A friend of mine, who knows that I'm crazy as a loon, sent me the link, below. Surf to the web audio clip (it's is only two minutes long, before it goes mute), if you want a good cackling. Enjoy!

By the way, I sent this message because I couldn't go out birding. I was raven mad because I didn't have any petrel for my car, so I decided to practice my new hobby ... swiftly twirling my hula hoopoe while on a pair of stilts ... I fell off (a myna accident) but ended up limpkin around the house, using a crane, on my thick-knee, which later turned into a greenshank ... it was knot funny! Oh, these times are veery ruff!
Warning: bird puns can be a bittern pill to swallow!
Since this is non-Maryland/DC related, it's probably best to not start a public thread ...
Phil
PS: Phainopepla can make your head explode!
