I haven't seen any displays myself, but I have heard peenting a few times in a few places, and heard several stories of folks seeing them display during CBC's! I also did the Calvert mid-winter count, and my owling started off exciting. Great Horned responding to tape on the first stop (from the car, actually) Unfortunately he followed me all the way from the parking lot of Calvert Cliffs State Park to the water via the red trail - 1.8 miles. Possibly because of this I got no Barred or Screech. I had Brown-headed Nuthatches there, which I've never heard of being there, before. Also had a Peregrine flyover and a phoebe in the swamp. But no Red-headed Woodpeckers.
