Well...it's finally out there. Okay. Most of it anyway. Lists, photos, and numbers galore for this year. Yup. I've gone overboard. Bonkers. What? You say I already *was* there. Oh, well. Maybe moreso now. You can live my birding year virtually now at my website by clicking on Birding 2000. http://users.erols.com/gregorym It was the coolest way to start a millenium--birding, of course. You can see my Millenium Dawn photos from Pt Lookout State Park as well as a few bird photos (some good and some not so, of course). 18 counties and over 1750 miles in the first 10 days. If I was gonna be in the state for the rest of the month, I might get one of those imaginary things called "close-outs". At any rate, I'm California-bound next week. That gives you all free license to find extraordinary new state records, documented with outstanding photos and outlandish stories. I'll be stuck with those mundane Yellow-billed Magpies, Black Oystercatchers, and Red-breasted Sapsuckers, and such. Mmm. I'm not feeling *too* bad. Happy 2000!
