Two males were present this afternoon (Wednesday, January 12, 2000). Unfortunately, they did not arrive a week or so earlier for the Annapolis CBC, which missed them completely ... oh, well. Also, within the past week I have noticed a few male goldfinches with very yellow heads and throats. Is spring springing?
