To get to it from the Dam, = one would drive on the road toward Route #1, at the top of the hill, = turn at the second left and drive about 1/2 mile to the nest. Rodney = Jones showed us the nest some years ago when he led a trip for the = Baltimore Bird Club. On our visit we couldn't find the nest and drove = back and forth on the road until we realized it was no longer there. We = did find its former location and drove to the tree that housed the nest. = The tree was down and had been sawed into several sections. There was = no nest that we could see. Roots of the stump were exposed indicating = that it may have blown down. Does anyone know the situation?
