MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit This am ~11 we went to the spot discussed here by Marshall Iliff and Jim Stasz on Sparks Rd, just e. of Tuckahoe Creek, and just as described - a little west of the high point of the road, encountered a group of 100+ HOLA's, spiced with 4 SNBU's and 2 LALO's. As predicted for these snow-covered conditions, many of the birds came right onto the road to ingest gravel, and very good views were had. The drifts were plowed, and the few vehicles that passed were tolerant of our being stopped in the road. Arriving home, we saw a Tree Sparrow in our suburban yard - the first in 21 years.
