Hi All,
   I was birding this morning with Joe Halpin and Bobbie Hughes and Joe first
spotted a male Tufted Duck at the Washington Sailing Marina just south of
National Airport.
It had intensely white sides, a very black back, and a almost complete tuft
on the head, suggesting that it may be just short of full adult status. It
was in with a flock of Scaup and the flock also included Redhead, Canvasback,
Ruddy Ducks, and Am. Black Ducks.
