Highlights of the 44 species from this area were a Great Blue = Heron and a Redhead on the Monocacy River, a Red-headed Woodpecker, over = 300 Horned Larks, 7 Myrtle Warblers, 13 Savannah Sparrows, White-crowned = Sparrows outnumbered White-throats 135 to 63, 15 Meadowlarks, and at = least 25 Purple Finches in a cedar grove where they are frequently found = in winter. Low lights were no kinglets, creepers, Winter Wrens, = blackbirds, Field Sparrows, Swamp Sparrows, and only 16 Tree Sparrows.
