Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2000 05:22:00 -0800 Reply-To: Maryland Birds & Birding Sender: Maryland Birds & Birding From: Kyle Rambo Subject: St. Mary's County Birds for Sat. 1/29 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Had a few good birds in St. Mary's County yesterday. 1 American Tree Sparrow in a flock of about 100 other sparrows (W-T, W-C, Song, Field, Savannah, D-E Junco) near the intersection of Johnson and Young Roads on the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. 2 Greater White-fronted Geese in a flock of about 2000 Canada's, in a field along Rt.5 in Park Hall, northbound side of the road, just north of the Green Door (a local tavern). 1 Common Redpoll at the intersection of Beachville and Grayson Roads in St. Inigoes, in the yard of the green and white trailer. (This is the exact same spot where Patty Craig hadf a Lark Sparrow just a week ago).
