I found the 2 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE today (1/30 at 10:30am) near the same location Kyle had them yesterday afternoon. Directions: (DeLorme 31-D4) From the north follow Rt 235 south through Lexington Park, passing the Navy Base. Turn right (west) onto Rt 489 (Park Hall Rd). Follow Rt 489 to the "T" junction with Rt 5 and turn right (north) toward Leonardtown. Look in the first corn stubble field on your right (about 0.1-0.3 miles) for a loose flock of about 100 Canada Geese. There is a wide shoulder on the [left] west side of Rt 5 where you can pull off the busy road. The 2 Greater White-fronted Geese seem to hang together. This morning, I found them near the 2 small white barns with green roofs. I did not have time to check for the Redpoll or the Lark Sparrow as I was on my way to work... -Greg Miller Hollywood, MD __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
