Of some note: lots of Common Mergs, pair of Gadwall, Goldeneye, Bufflehead, 3 Coots, pair of Redheads, Mallards, Blacks, Lesser Black-backed Gull, 4 Black-Crowned Night Heron and the normal host of gulls, vultures, GBHEs and a Bald Eagle (mature). About 2:45 pm, a Red-shouldered Hawk (imm.) picked off a squirrel in a yard adjacent to my yard and ate it in a tree nearby, I had been wondering were all the squirrels were lately.
