Subject: Pelagics MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain MDOsprey, Thanks for the posting pelagic information, Phil. I am pleased that MDOsprey strongly encourages posts of only Maryland sightings. I certainly do not have time to read an overwhelming number o= f posts from the entire mid-Atlantic area. However, pelagic trips are a little different. There are not enough trips in Maryland waters, so loca= l pelagic birding experience will have to come from the surrounding regions. This is almost unheard of for a winter pelagic. Gonna do it ... and try for my Great Skua! Note that this weekend's departure is from Wanchese, NC which is right next to Nags Head ... you don't have to drive the extra hour down to Hatteras. Thought you all might be interested.
