But I= wonder about their agenda. During a winter 2 years ago, a Red-shoulder would per= ch on a branch near the feeder. He seemed to be staring intently, tho', at the co= mpost bin. After a long time the other birds took him for granted and in their impatience to line up at the feeder, some Cardinals would actually elbow = him aside.
