I pulled into= = the boat ramp area for a quick scan and found about 2 dozen Coots near th= e = ramp and a mixed Common Goldeneye, Lesser Scaup, Ruddy Duck and Bufflehea= d = flock to the south with a few Redheads mixed in. Numbers of ducks seem to= = be on the rise along the Patuxent as the upper tribs remain frozen. Keep = = your eyes out for dark-backed Aythya spp.! Good Birding!
