The bird was in a flock of 250 - 300 Canada geese and 2 "blue' = = snow geese. The bird was unbanded and the plumage did not have any indication of = unnatural wear. It was feeding actively in a field of corn stubble and freely = associating with the other geese.=20 We were subsequently joined by Sam Dyke and Patsy and Eric Decker who = also saw the bird. It's a gorgeous bird and worth looking at. Directions; Rt. 50 to Nanticoke Rd. (Rt. 349)=20 On Nanticoke Rd. go past the first turnoff to Jesterville Rd continuing = through Bivalve until you reach the second=20 Jesterville Rd. turnoff. (it's a left). Go about a quarter of a mile just past a farmhouse with much equipment = scattered about to the field on the left where the bird was seen.
