Ted's boat in January and there was plenty = of room for scopes on the upper deck. Plus, when they find a family group = of cranes near the intercoastal, they pull the boat up to the shore and = hold it there allowing great scope views. They even set up several = spotting scopes of their own on the bow. BTW, you'll hear during their talk about the cranes that there are several = Whoopers in captivity here in Maryland at the Patuxent Wildlife Research = Center. Gorgeous birds!
