Charlie's directions were spot-on, and the Canada Geese (at least 380) were there, but the flock was on the far side of the field and partially hidden as they fed along a creek. I saw a blue-phase Snow Goose briefly three or four times, but for the most part it remained below the crest of the high ground. I circled the area by car, but there is only one viewing point. Next time I'll bring a TV remote truck and shinny up the telescoping antenna pole, or maybe a lineman's cherry picker. You could set up a scope in one of those. There is considerable controversy about the legitimacy of Barnacle Goose records, but some of them have got to be real. It's worth a look.
