Directions, etc were posted a month or more ago, but some of you may have missed them, so I'll give my version (If you deleted them by accident, I've done THAT before, too!) The wal-Mart (I really HATE to use that name here - almost sounds like an endorsement for one of the nastiest businesses this country has produced - environmentally insensitive, lie about Made in America, unfair business practices, sell products of child labor... Ok, enough soapbox!) The Bleep-Bleep is on route 50, south-bound side, about 4-5 miles west of the OC bridge. Or, as you approach OC, it's on the right. The sparrow field is on the right, if you're looking at the Bleep-Bleep from the road. It is quite full of sparrows, and the 3 hot spots the day I was there were, in decreasing order: 1) a hedgerow separating the field nearest the road from one behind; 2) a very wet area right along the entrance road, very close to the building of shame itself; 3) a shrub island in the middle of the field. There are 2 big mounds in the middle of the field. Getting atop these from the side closest to route 50, and walking slowly south allows you to look down on the birds, and to get really close before they flush. And you tend to see them for a longer period of time when they do flush. Good luck! Answer: Here kitty, kitty, kitty! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo!
