Jane and I got up at the crack of dawn and headed to the nuke plant to =
look AGAIN for the Little Gull that Danny Bystrak found on Friday and =
Harvey and Marion Mudd, Greg Miller and George Jett had yesterday. We =
arrived at about 6:30 a.m. and almost immediately found it feeding in the =
turbulence of the cooling outflow with about 50 Bonaparte's Gulls. We =
watched it for about 45 minutes before heading off to work.

If you plan on trying for this bird, make sure that you don't go to the =
overlook. You can't see the outflow from that vantage point, only the =
inflow. Take the nature trail off to the left of the overlook and go to =
the sign saying something like Do Not Go Beyond This Point. That area =
looks directly out onto the riffles of the outflow. We found that the =
early morning light was excellent. Although it was coming from our right, =
we could use one of the large trees to the right as a screen.

Thanks to everyone for keeping us updated. Another nemesis bird bites the =
dust!

Good Birding!
