The Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, about 10 miles south of Prince Frederick, is reached from Rt. 4. There is a traffic light and a sign. Drive in the entrabce road [keeping an eye open for Wild Turkey] and go about 1.5 miles to the end where there is parking by the Visitor's Center. Near the Bay due east of the Visitor's Center is an overlook gazebo. North of the Overlook is the foundation of an historic site, and north of that is the trail that goes around the big field north of the Visitor Center Parking Area. Apparently the outflow from the power plant and the gulls are best seen from the trail and not from the Overlook. Good Birding!
