There were many LESSER SCAUP, 100+ and at least one GREATER SCAUP that satisfied me with a noticeably rounded head as opposed to the little peaky head of the lesser. We had great opportunity to study both species on our club trip to Eastern Neck this past weekend. I also heard a RING-NECKED PHEASANT calling from the woods as I was studying the scaup, for an added bonus.
