Weather around 80...blue sky...whoooops...I was in Florida birding. Actually, if anyone is on their way to Florida, the beautiful Bachman's is at Merrit Island on the Oak Trail about 30 feet down on the left side. I understand it has been in this vicinity on a semi-regular basis for a week or so This is a lifer for me. 125 species of birds sighted in three days. Merrit Island to Orlando Wetlands Park to Zellwood to Honeymoon Island with many stops in between.
