Yesterday we did a little Calvert/St Mary's tour with plans to end up at MD Rock for the Short-eared Owl. We did not have the luck that Jack and Susan did with the Peregrines (none to be seen around 3 pm). There were a dozen or more Bony's at the Nuke, but no Little. Still lots of ducks there too. We saw my first Pine Warbler of the Spring at the WMA on Smokey Rd., and we did not see the Short-eared. Perhaps we were not at the right spot, but there were 2 Harriers cruising until dark (and dozens of meadowlarks!), so it looked like a good place for them. danny bystrak bristol ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
