Took a walk in a mixed woodlot, and heard several pine warblers trilling from small stands of loblolly pines. The buffleheads are displaying off the beach, and the peepers calling from the cliffside(!). This afternoon a bald eagle soared overhead, and a flock of 24 tundra swans are settled offshore. I hope to hear them take off tonight! sue hamilton, Scientists Cliffs PS My brown thrasher survived the snow, and I had a winter wren yesterday. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
