I found 64 Wild Turkey in a field on the South side of Slabtown Road West of the Creek (accessed from Hollow Road). Leaving this same area, a pond on the South Side of Slabtown Rd had a single female Goldeneye. Sunday I stopped at Piney Reservoir in Garrett County, finding 6 or 7 Tundra Swans, a small group of Red-breasted Mergansers, a single female Greater Scaup, a single male Lesser Scaup, and about 20 Ring-necked Ducks. Later Sunday at Rocky Gap SP I had about 20 Red-breasted Mergs, 3 Ruddy Ducks, 5 Pied Billed Grebes, 10 or 12 Scaup (all Lessers), 12 or 15 American Wigeon, a female Bufflehead, 3 Hooded Mergs, a Common Loon and a single Horned Grebe. There was also a single Bonaparte's Gull on the beach with about 24 Ring-billed Gulls. Good Birding, J.B. ====================================================== John B. Churchill, M.S.
