In with them were two N. Rough-winged Swallows (up from a single seen there on March 11) and my first Barn Swallow for Maryland this year. In fact, I have NEVER seen a Barn Swallow in Montgomery County in March; they generally arrive some time in April. Other birds on interest were 14 Blue-winged Teal at HH, a very noisy male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker along Sycamore Landuing Rd. and 7 Com. Snipe flushed from the wet field at the corner of River Rd. and Sycamore Landing Rd. There was a Winter Wren too at HH and another one at Seneca.
