We can use all this information for the = Maryland nest record file. Concerning the early Carolina Wren nest: the egg dates noted in the = Yellow Book are for viable egg dates as best are known. There is a = record of a Carolina Wren nest with 4 eggs at PWRC on 1/24/75 but these = eggs were not considered viable. There is a record of a nest in = Caroline County on 2/27/55. There is a recent record of a nest with one = egg in St Mary's County on 3/18/97 which probably would be used as the = early egg date in the next edition of the Yellow Book.
