I enjoy all your sightings. Checking for ducks in several spots/Charles Cty this morning--March 23 Bumpy Oak Road RR crossing: Green-winged Teal 6 Gadwalls 5 Northern Shovelers 2 Pied-bd Grebe 1 Am.Coot 1 usual Canada Geese 16 or so and 2 Red-hd Woodpeckers, other usuals Myrtle Grove--main pond: Green-winged Teal 21 (in/out of reeds-may be more) Ring-necked Duck 4 Hooded Merganser 3 (1M; 2F) Wood Ducks 2 (also in/out of reeds, more?) Pied-bd Grebe 2 Am.Coot 2 NO Ganada Geese! Nothing today at our house on the Potomac in Indian Head. Waiting for Osprey on new platform Steve Cardano put up last Sunday. One flew by as he/good son were in the water working by not seen since! Lot of Great Blues daily now along the shore here.
