At about 3:15 pm there was a pair of northern pintails keeping to themselves near the southern shore just west of the artificial islands. There was also a redhead hanging around the edge of a flock of 22 ring-necks in about the same place. We also saw 7 double-crested cormorants! When we first saw them, 5 were on the big island and there was one on each of two of the little islands. When we left the lake, all 7 were swimming around the east end of the lake (from about where the boat dock is to near the dam).
