Is the= re > any source of info on this? As Peter Osenton said, pokeweed is a great plant for wildlife, but porcelainberry is a very aggressive, alien vine. I would recommend getting rid of it, even though birds do take the berries. That's how it spreads so effectively! If you can get a handle on the porcelainberry now, you had better do it while you still can. At Dyke Marsh in Fairfax County, porcelainberry, along with Japanese Honeysuckle, and Bittersweet and running rampant and really taking over.
