Can L. Waterthrushe= s and B-g. Gnatcatchers be far behind? Also yesterday (3-24) added a new species to my "seen carrying a bottle" list (OK, so it was the first spec= ies for that list) -- There were 2 Imm. Bald Eagles cavorting around in the m= arsh behind my house and picking up sticks and marsh plant stems; one of them picked up a bottle by the neck and pranced around with it like some proud preditor with its kill in its mouth. She/he did this twice during the cavorting. The other seemed impressed and pecked at it once, but didn't = pick it up. Perhaps this was a Bald Eagle X Bowerbird hybrid? BTW, the cavor= ting kept flushing the flock of Green-winged Teal that were there, and among t= hem was my first 2 Blue-winged Teals of the year. danny bystrak bristol ========================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ========================================================================= ===========================================================================
